Most Awaited Event: CSCHU1 Kickoff Ceremony

The much-awaited event Kicked off with a bang in Budapest. 14 IBMers from 7 different countries working with 4 host organizations came together with only one common goal – Let’s make tomorrow better.

The ceremony was opened by Peter Rehus, Country director, IBM Hungary followed by Peter Szalay , COO, IBM Hungary. Balazs Szepesi – Deputy State Secretory, Ministry of Innovation and Technology then briefed us about Hungarian economy and expressed his hope that through our work with the four organisations, we can help inspire women and small and medium entrepreneurs with e-learning and develop a strategy to boost the economy.



The four sub-teams working with four Hungarian organizations are responsible for a different aspect of the project.
Sub-team 1 working with ICT Association of Hungary for strategizing the implementation of first AI Hub in Hungary which is primarily focused on the benefits of SMEs.

Sub-team 2 with Budapest University of Technology and Economics Center for University-Industry Cooperation (BME-FIEK) responsible for developing an interactive digital framework ecosystem.

Sub-team 3 with Budapest Enterprise Agency (BVK) will contribute with the creation of a three-year enterprise development program for the more active involvement of youth and women in the enterprise sector.

Sub-team 4 with Impact Hub Budapest will work at an e-learning program for the improvement of entrepreneurial knowledge, primarily for women living outside Budapest.

The ceremony ended with a group photo with all participants.
