Team CSC HU 1 - One week to blast off

Team CSC HU 1 is one week from official departure to Budapest, Hungary! As the first IBM CSC deployment into Hungary, we are eager to arrive and meet each other, our facilimentors, DOT (Digital Opportunity Trust) and of course, the host organizations (ICT, Impact Hub, BME, BEA) in person. The team has been preparing for the last 12 weeks learning about the Hungarian culture (Turó Rudi, Lángos, Rétes, Lecsó, Gulyás, Paprika and more), the purpose of the IBM CSC (Corporate Service Corp) & value of doing such deployments and of course, the community challenges to be supported.

IBM Corporate Service Corps is part of the Global Citizen's Portfolio (GCP) initiative announced by CEO Sam Palmisano. It is a program to develop leadership skills while addressing economic challenges in emerging markets. The Corporate Service Corps initiative involves IBMers who can contribute valuable and much-needed skills, talent, and capabilities in emerging market countries and help make an impact in that country.
